Our women’s health programme takes a multi faceted approach to improve women’s health through advocacy, mental health and psychosocial support activities.
The Human Rights Programme strategy is
informed by Goal 5: Ground the response to HIV,
TB and STIs in human rights principles and
approaches. It sets out a comprehensive response
to human rights and gender-related barriers to HIV
and tuberculosis (TB) services in South Africa for
key and vulnerable populations.
Adolescents & Young People (AYP) Programme The AYP Programme offers a risk avoidance, age-tailored combination prevention programme for AYP aged 10-24 years in 14 priority sub-districts. The programme targets AYP (i.e.) AGYW, ABYM, ALHIV and Youth with Disabilities; in and out of school but does not decline service provision to other populations who are engaged by the programme (i.e. members of the broader community).
The ART-adherence club programme
provides patient-friendly access to
antiretroviral therapy (ART) for clinically
stable patients. It reduces the burden that
stable patients place on healthcare facilities,
increasing clinical human resources for new
patients, and those clinically unstable and at
risk of failing treatment.
This is an accelerated catch-up programme for learners using Pratham’s principle of Teaching at the Right Level. This approach focuses on a child’s learning needs rather than their age or what grade they’re in. Reading for Meaning is a strategic programme within SONGE Social Change aims to help learners who are struggling to keep up with their peers. We have developed an array of reading resources, audiobooks and activities for children as well as simple guidelines for parents and education practitioners to follow.
